I have finally mastered some clothing making lol now I want to get more creative! Was wondering if anyone could tell how to make socks! Not sure how to go about it. Any advice or tips would greatly appreciated!

Hi Alice!

Socks are created by using the "lower body" portion of the templates (either Robin's or Chip's). You will be making (drawing) the socks within the grid areas for the feet as well as the legs to make your socks.

Advice: watch out for the ankle...it stretches something awful so any details in that area is usually distorted beyond recognition.

Hope that gets you started :)

Best,
~Ari

To add the ancle stretching: also at the upper leg (so it depend on how high you wan to make them :) it's a bit tricky to let them appear real straight in SL. use the Previewer of Johan and you will be not supprised of how they look in-world and it will also save some lousy uploads aka L$.

Also, don't forget that it can't be shoe layer it has to be a different layer.
