Feel a lot like vector based drawing, but i guess that if you are good at drawing, using a pencil or art pastels don't matter much.

For an artist the tools do not matter.

Wow! That's one talented MS Paint user.

As Kyrah said, it's the artist, not the tools, that makes the art. Considering that 30,000 years ago, cave men in Europe were able to airbrush incredibly realistic paintings by spitting berry juice and crushed minerals onto cave walls, maybe MS Paint isn't quite so primitive after all.

Very impressive video. Thanks for the link. :)

Indeed, a talented artist can creat beauty even with a piece of charcoal. Yet most of us are so wrapped up in the technological advancements around us these days that we tend to forget that fact, thus when something like this appears, we are thinking how is that possible with something so simple?

And as Chosen said, maybe MS Paint isna't so simple after all :D

This should be an inspiration to us all :)

Wasn't it? I was amazed the ten first times I watched it lol. Now I just run it to listen to the song hehehe ;p

And while I agree with Chosen And Kyrah that it's not the tool that creats the art but the artist, after watching this, I couldn't help but wonder that if he can do this with MS Paint, then what could he do with Photoshop or Illustrator?

Really awesome. It is sometimes depressing when people gain access to high end graphics tools expecting to find the "create amazing artwork" filter somewhere without having the most basic knowledge of how to draw to begin with.

As far as what he can do with other tools, well, look on his site. The name of it is clearly shown in the vid, and he has many images he's done in several different mediums dating back to 2002. ^.^

That is excellent! That took some doing in Paint! The artist obviously knew what he wanted to achieve and how to go about it. I have used a similar method to create a map in paint - not as sophisticated as a car, but starting with a scanned drawing. Now that I live part time in SL, however, I just go to the sandbox and build things for real!!!! LOL!
