I bought some hair that is editable. I know nothing about editing hair and would like to know how I go about making the bangs just a bit shorter. I have looked at the editing tools but I don't know what does what. I did make a copy of the hair just in case, but need to know how to do this. Thanks in advance.

It really all depends on how the hair was made. But basically, you right click on the hair while you're wearing it, choose edit, and then click the little check box that says 'edit individual prims' (or something like that, I'm not in-world). Then you can select individual prims, and stretch, rotate, and move them.

It also helps to stand on a pose stand so your body doesn't move.

i think for this type of scaling, you also would want to make sure that the "stretch textures" checkbox is clicked as well

I don't see anything that references editing individual prims so maybe it's not editable? Wait, I know it is because after I made a copy, I futzed around with the edit and made the bangs longer. I tried to reverse that but that didn't work. Like I said, I know nothing about the edit controls or what they mean. Guess I just find a quiet place and fool with it a bit more. I will probably get it eventually but any more help would be appreciated. If there is any more help to give that is :)

The button you're looking for isn't edit individual prim, but edit linked parts (bottom checkbox in the right hand column of the upper section under edit object).
