shadow and alpha

Hi everyone, im having a little problem and hope someone can help me.

Im working on a peorsonal skin and affter exporting my shadow and alpha from Zbrush to photoshop im not able to keep my skin color. Ive tryed different blending mode, change opacity but nothing work.

Any help wil be appreciated

Can you be more specific about what tools you are using in ZBrush?
Also, are you trying to add color back in Photoshop or get color imported from ZBrush?

In Zbrush im modeling the SL av, create dispmap to bake the texture, then exported shadow and alpha to photoshop. And yes im trying to add color in photoshop, but with pale color the shadow turn donw to orange, i tryed multiple pale color, blending mod and opacity but still dont have any good result.

After so many bad result i tryed something different, i created normal map in Zbrush then exported to photoshop and use it with Tech shop plugin ( find it here somewhere in the forum) but with almost same result.

Just dont know what im doing wrong, , maybe its about base color and color balance in PS but not sure, maybe my lightning in Zbrush is wrong. I tryed to found some tutorial on the web but didnt found anything.

For ZBrush I recommend joining the ZBrush Central forums. That is where I go for information.

With Photoshop I almost always use Adjustment Layers and Layer Effects to manipulate color.

Hue and Saturation, or Variations can be combined with an alpha channel to selectively adjust the color of shadow or highlight on your textures.

Color Overlay in the Layer Effects tab is useful for establishing a base color to manipulate. Once you find a good base color, you can either keep it there or create a layer from that effect to manipulate with an andjustment layer.

The most important thing with these methods is flexibility and non-destructive results. You have the option to change, back out, rework, and manipulate to your hearts content without worrying about messing up or getting stuck.
