Hi

i've designed a BASIC halter top, following Nicola Eschers instructions ..... in the working layer .. i put in my own design

here is the link

http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/9686/snapshot0kf.jpg

however .. when i upload it to SL .. i thought it would upload as a shirt ... but of course it uploaded as a texture, therefore when i go to create a new shirt, it has white sleaves which when i reduce .... etc, i can only get rid of the white to this extent

someone told me .. it was to do with my layers in photoshop

anyone got any ideas

thanks

Not layers, quick, don't let Chosen see you say that before he blows his top...

Anyway... what you want is an alpha channel to snip out the bits you don't want from the texture. There's a batch of ways to sort that in the transparency/tutorials stickies at the top of this forum.

My current favourite, select all the blank in your original, invert selection, save selection as channel, anti-halo.

The alternative, assuming that's working properly and included in what you've done (which I think it might be now your snapzilla pic has rezzed), you're still wearing an undershirt that you need to take off. You can search the inventory for the word WORN, or right click yourself, take off clothes and check what layers you're wearing that way, taking off undershirt if it's on (it's in the MORE> section of the pie menu).
