Blury Textures on HUD

I am working on a HUD but the textures always seem so blury when I apply them on the HUD components. They are crystal clear in photoshop and after loading into SL, but just dont seem to fuly render on the HUD.

I have been using 512 x 512 32bit tga.

Are there sizes and setting that work better for a HUD?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try applying the texture to a rendered object in-world, thet would help determine if the problem is with the texture or with the HUD portion of the viewer.

Also, just to be certain, are you stretching, scaling, or offsetting the texture at all?

No I didnt streach it, just applied it.

I will try it on a normal sized object and see how that looks.

I sometime have blurry HUD textures too. Usually attaching and reattaching helps fix them I find, but it is annoying. Other things that force a redraw - changing colour for example also helps.

On a slightly related note, since the update the smooth edges of my HUD are no longer rendering smooth, but blocky. Haven't changed any settings. Mildly annoying, since I might have saved some time and just made it look ugly originally :)

I tried the texture on a larger object not on the hud and it rezzes very well and is not blury at all.

I did not try changing the color to get it to redraw, but I have re-attached it several times and that is not helping with the blury look.
