Issues getting sleeves to line up..

Hi guys,

So I've just recently come back to SL, and naturally jumped in right where I left off: creating tattoo's and shirts. I can make a killer tank top or muscle shirt, have even managed to figure out how to make some very nice shadows, highlights, and wrinkles for that excellent 3D-ish realistic look. My problem now lies in the fact that I cannot get the sleeve ends to match up. I've gotten very good at matching up seams etc while using Chip & Robin's templates, but on either of the templates I just cannot get the sleeves to line up properly. =(

I have noticed on some pictures (Robin's T-Shirt tut for example) that there are little spaces (roughly 10px) on the top and bottom of the arm templates where instead of a straight line across the arm, there's a part that goes down the arm. (I truely hope this is making sense to anyone besides me)

Anyway, if anyone is able to throw out a tutorial with how to make sleeves properly I would be forever in your debt! Preferably a video tut, or step by step pictures? Beggars can't be choosers though, so I'll take whatever anyone can give. Thanks guys!!

Are you talking about the wrist area or the shoulder area?

Sorry, I should have specified. The shoulder area. Just above the elbow like a normal T-Shirt.

Okay, I got just the thing. Assuming you are using PC and have a 2d prog that can use Photoshop filters. Playing catch-up right now, so will take me a bit.

I've been wanting to do sleeve things with MCH for awhile. This being the perfect opportunity and all that.

Started working on it and it got a bit bigger than I was expecting. Total of five extra channels for the male and female. Then I got confused a few times and had to start all over with certain things. But I eventually got it all straightened out. Even took the MCH files for a spin and they work much dandy. Uber sleeves soon.

Now I gotta write the tutorial. I think I'm gonna go all-out and do it my old school tutorial style. I've been doing a lot of quick-n-sleazy lately, so I will probably slow it down and cover more bases like I used to back in the day.

Soon.

I got a little side-tracked. I couldn't find any hemp rope, so I braided my own from hobby string. I got skills. And sore fingertips. But my new rope is uber and well worth it.

Stupid forums. The magic has eluded me.

Multi-CH is a filter that requires a host that can handle Photoshop filters. The MCH files are in the repository. Links are in there at the bottom for all that jazz.

Should be more than enough for the bulk of any kind of sleeve work that you want to do.
