I have a recurring problem trying to make tattoo sets. I make the undershirt, then shirt and when I get to the Jacket my texture will NOT appear on my avi's skin. It seems to only be with the Jacket. Not sure if that is because I am always making the Jacket last or what. I have made other complete sets so I know it can be done. Can anyone shed a little light on this or been having similar difficulties?

Hey Krash,
Have you looked at the jacket and it's model. Maybe I am out of line and telling you something stupid. But you can mod the jacket, make it shorter, with open sides and short sleaves. When you have mod it with open sides for instance your bellybuttontattoo won't show.

Have Fun,

... as Aesther, Krash. Check that your jacket is not 'opened'.
To be sure of that, I always start with a blank jacket that I adjust on sleeves, collar, length, and 'open' or 'close'. Then I apply the damn bloody texture we spend hours on.

Thanks for the input guys.....I usually do as you are describing. What is troubling me is when I start with a fresh jacket as you call it......the texture (tattoo) I am using will not appear as it did with the undershirt and shirt. Has this ever hapened to you?

I would try clearing your cache. Recently I've had issues where certain clothes simply do not show even when they say they are worn in the inventory. I guess you should also try rebaking at first.

It may also just be sl having fun with you, had a wierd one myself the other day. made up a jacket layer as a sample for a custom tattoo, looked fine on me, sent it to the customer for approval, when she wore it, her tattoo was there but it was overlaid with a completely different tattoo I had made the texture for over a week earlier and had not used since. Resent it to her, with no changes being made and it was fine. SL has been playing up a lot last few days, first not able to upload new textures, then when you do, you can't create anything. So it may not be anything you are doing at all, it could literally just be SL. Hope you get it sorted soon.
