You have a very nice start. I'm not sure whether there are specific techniques that will help you much at this point, although it never hurts to learn a new trick or two. Shading is one of the hardest challenges for an artist and, yes, it can make the difference between a good piece of work and one that really pops. The best advice I can offer has nothing to do with Photoshop at all. Instead, I suggest that you find an art program at a local community college or adult continuing ed center and spend some time developing your drawing skills. You are ALREADY good, but if you work with a good teacher she can help you learn how to see light on materials in a new way. Get in the habit of sketching a lot with pencil and paper. Take clothes out of your closet and see the way they drape and how shadows form as you turn them in the light. Watch the way clothes sit when other people wear them, so you get a feel for where fabric wrinkles and folds. (Take photos if they'll let you.) I think you are at the point where mechanical technique is less important than developing a good eye.
