I've got the hang of a very easy to use Rokuren from Yuzuru Jewell, it turns out the sculpted maps nicely and they're easy to import back into SL.

As an almost complete beginner to building, I need to know how to use these sculpt maps on prims to turn the prims into the objects I designed in Rokuren. Putting the maps onto prims is easy as they're textures but how to get the shape I want has escaped me to date. How do I prepare the prims? what part of edit should I be in , if at all etc?

I didn't find any info in the stickies hence my asking here, please remember I'm a beginner, so simple language please.

Select or create a prim, and then in the editor, go to the Object tab. Under Building Block Type, choose Sculpted. The prim will change shape to the default apple sculpty. In the editor, you'll see that all the parameters on the right hand side have disappeared, and have been replaced by a field showing thing sculpt map for the apple. Replace that map with your own (either by dragging one in from inventory, or by clicking field to bring up the texture picker), and the object will become the shape you want it to be.
