ok--i bought a house and didn't like the color of the walls inside, so i went around for about an hour and changed the texture and color. Didn't realize it changed the color and texture on the outside too. Is this suppose to happen or did i do something wrong? The colors on the inside weren't the same color as the outside to begine with, so I don't get how it all ended up one color! Can someone explain? Thanx

If you select a prim and just change its color/texture, it will be the whole prim, including all of its sides.

To select only ONE side of a prim, you need to check the button in the top of the Edit window that says "select texture", then click on the side of the prim you want to change. This will allow you to change the color/texture on just one side of the prim.
