Uploading sounds????

Not sure if this is the right forum or not. But I have several sound files I want to upload. but SL keeps saying tehy aren't the right sample rate. Can anyone tell me how I change that?

You need a wave editting tool. I have one that lets me use it fully for so many changes per session before it shuts down for free. I can't remember what the name of it is atm.

You will basically need to change the format to one of the supported wav types and change the frequency to 44100 (you will need to adjust the play time to compensate as changing the frequency will change the length and make it not sound the same)

your sound files also need to be trimmed down to 9 seconds or less

Is it Goldwave? That used to drive me nuts. Awesome software though if you can get the full version.

May I suggest a very good, absolutely free sound editor, called Audacity?? its open source, so it's not a demo, and you can get it here... http://audacity.sourceforge.net.
