I just downloaded the trial version of DeepPaint3D but I don't know how to preview my clothes on the 3d avatar. I'm assuming once the piece of clothing is on the avatar it can be edited from there.
Can anyone help me or point me to a link in this forum?
Thanks so much!

You can load a texture onto your .OBJ file when you load it into DP3D. When you go to open the avatar file, there is a dialog box that appears, and there is a listing of the various material zones (lowerbody, upperbody, etc). Next to each of those listings is a grey rectangle (or at least, it's grey to me!) if you click inside that grey rectangle, another dialog appears that will have a list of letters... C, S, B, etc etc. These are Color, Shine, Bump, etc. If you click the "C" it will give you yet another dialog box that asks if you wish to use "Nothing," or "An Image" or what have you. If you choose "An Image" you can browse for your saved image file. You can also load it in much the same way by clicking on the "Elements" button that is to the right of the workspace in DP3D. It looks like 3 stacked bits of paper with a little textured sphere. Alternatively, you can press F7 to access it. Hope that makes sense. I'm going strictly off memory here, and I may have missed a step. If I did, I'm sorry. If nothing else, I hope it gives you a start as to where to go. If you need any more help, don't hesitate to ask - if I can I will.

Thanks for the info., Nikki. I was able to load the texture in but my avatar is bumpy and looks like metal. Has this ever happened to you?
