Not sure if I should post this here. Please move or tell me where to post if this is the wrong spot...
Anyway, I've been taking photos forever for my clothing. I had a problem a LONG time ago with having a thin black line at the bottom of each photograph that wouldn't show up until I moved the pic to the bacground I usually use. I don't know how, but that eventually got fixed, no more black lines when I'd take fotos. Yay!
Now, at least since the last viewer update (and I'm now using the Test viewer), the line has come back! And I don't know why as I haven't changed ANY foto settings in SL. Can anyone help?
ALSO...I have a custom ratio I take my fotos at...and with this new test viewer, when I use said ratio, there's an actual BLACK line IN my foto view. It usually cuts off the top of my head. I was thinking, maybe that's the extent of the foto itself...but the custom ratio is bigger than the regular ratio that is defaulted as LARGE in the foto properties.
I hope I'm not sounding like a raving lunatic...I'm really not...>.>
Just a frustrated picture taker.
Help.
Thanks bunches in advance, Elle

Sounds like maybe a video driver issue (I seem to be saying that a lot lately). Download the latest driver for your video card, uninstall your current one, and install the new one. Then reboot, and uninstall & reinstall SL.
If the problem persists after that, then maybe check for other pograms running that could be competing for video resources. I remember a few years ago, the little half globe thingy that hovered on the side of the screen for Norton Internet Security used to cause a black half-moon shape in the same spot to appear in all my snapshots. The problem didn't go away until Norton axed the globe in later versions of NIS. Maybe you've got something causing a similar problem.

Don't feel back I have had a bug that won't lete me properly use appearance mode since 1.12.
I have long since created a work around, but it is still annoying.
