OK, this question seems so simple I almost feel silly asking...but here it goes anyway (someone else may have this question some day, and I didn't see it specifically mentioned anywhere). Q: If I'm making a set of clothing which does not require any skin to show (ie a bodysuit, for instance), when I save my clothing template files do I even need an alpha channel and 32-bit .tga? Or can I just use 24-bit and save the world the extra bandwidth?

If your body suit textures are going to extend right to the texture seams then you don't need an alpha channel. If you'd like a neckline that isn't just a straight line at the head seam, like a rounded collar, then you do need to use an alpha.
