Scott Moschella has what looks to be a very nice arrangement of GIMP to make the layout similar to Photoshop! Currently for Mac OSX, and has been compiled for Linux. Still waiting for the Windows version. *crosses fingers*

Definately looks to be worth checking out.

It got Slashdotted, so hopefully there will be a version for Windows soon enough. :)

They've already got a linux port, so I'm sure the Windows port won't be far behind. I do know a few have been able to compile it successfully on Windows, but none have released it yet.. Give it a day or two.

But since the Lindens in thier infamous wisdom. (yes I meant infamous) decided to mess with texture permissions, I probably won't need it any longer.
