Clothing tutorials

I have prepared two web-based tutorials to assist designers in making clothes and with SL content creation.

The first of these is named "Designing Flexible Clothes" and is designed to show how to make a flexi prim skirt. I have made several alterations to the Looprez script to make the script a bit more user friendly (the script is also available on the site listed below).

A second tutorial is aimed at intermediate or advanced level clothes creation. In this web tutorial, I show how Blender can be used to preview clothes before uploading them to SL. I also show a technique for texture baking using Blender. The technique can also be used to bake textures on any other OBJ objects. Since I am no expert with Blender, there are probably much easier ways to accomplish the same. Please let me know!

Have they been moved?

They should work but with links disabled here it often when I copy and paste the link I copy things I shouldn't thus causing error messages.
I have link in my homepage/blog on right side for Blu's tutorials on right side just click my name and select go to my homepage. It under my favorites "Designing Clothes with Blu"

According to batcave, the web host, they no longer support the batcave.net domains. If the OP has a new link I'd love to read the tutorial

I was just there this morning the link is in my homepage and it worked for me....click my name and you find the link like I said above

Looks like the link from your page is also dead, FD. If Dingthat is right, then all .batcave.net subdomains probably are no longer in use. If that's the case, then I would imagine the author of those tutorials has been given some sort of option to register a real domain name for his or her site now, to replace the previous .batcave.net subdomain.

Doesn't work for me either, but I'll definitely keep an eye on this thread and hopefully someone'll put up the new link. Blu is a great teacher...

That really odd cause it worked for me.
I have Blu's site up in my blog because she is friend.

It's not working for me either. I get a 'can't find the server blu.batcave.net' error, which is like the domain does not exist.

The first page of the tutorial is still in Google's archives from early December 07 so maybe the error is a temporary one.

If it works for you FD Spark it may be possible that you still have those pages in your browser's cache. Maybe the domain registration expired recently.

Indeed, Batcave dropped their free domain hosting service. I uploaded the pages to a new service, which hopefully will be more stable. Sorry for the inconvenience.
