I can't for the life of me get clothes not to "warp". I made a shirt with a number on it and it gets warped when brought in as a texture. Is there a magic formula you wonderful clothiers use to create clothes ? I have the templates, I made the clothes, I even got the alpha thing right... I just can't seem to get the right amount of pinching of the texture to get it to work. Any suggestions?
Thanks! TP

Where are you putting the numbers?
Front high but not middle or tummy doesn't warp much the back does so across the shoulder blades, so again it would have to be really high or low.
Or make it really small.

Thanks for the reply, Tipsy! The number is huge, like a football jersy style number on the back. I've seen plenty shirts with logos and such in the center of the back or chest and figure there must be a way to do it, since they can!

Due to the breathing of the AV (yes your Av breathes)
The texture will stretch mostly on the chest, females of course getting it the worst for stretched textures.
Try dead center back away from the slope of the shoulders and sides. The area that moves when breathing is just under the breasts and around the back and its a foward / back slow rocking like movment.
Hope that helps.

I never thought I'd say it..but boobs can suck when it comes to having an image of any kind on the top. Tipsy is right in that you need to bring it down lower for women or its just gonna get lost in the sea of cleavage lol. You can also make the number alot smaller..which will help some. On the back it screws up across the top so you need to bring it down more to the middle there also. The thing is..you just kind of have to mess with it til you get what you want and even then sometimes you have to settle lol. Though I must admit to you, I have seen strange lights coming from Nephilaine's set late at night..hmmm..magic would explain some things.

On the front of our avatar bodies there are lines going from the base of the neck to the armpits on both sides of the chest where clothing gets "sucked in" when you move. Watch closely for those areas and avoid them and you'll be alright on the front aside from cleavage. (Small note to the ladies: feel free to reduce your breasts. Around 30-35 really minimizes distortion and we won't mind, promise.) On the back there are similar areas near the shoulder blades. Once you get something that works you can mark it on your template for future use but be sure to test your work on different sized avatars and different genders.

One end = sticky clothes Other end = clothes float loose across the chest
Ok, who's up for taking this to the suggestions forum? =D
