Hi. I'm a newb to the whole texturing thing. I have made an eye texture using the photoshop templates and have uploaded it into SL. The thing i cant figure out is how to get the texture to attach to the eyes. All eye textures that i buy have the little eye ball icon and you just click wear to put them on. But i can't just can't figure out how to make the texture applyable to the eye itself. Any help would be great!

Thanks.

One more simple step.

Just right click your avatar, go into appearance and click eyes in the left hand column to change the eye texture. you can do this by double clicking the texture box that shows eyes or by dragging the texture for your new eyes to the texture box. you may need to put on linden eyes from the library first if you are wearing eyes you bought. cheers and Good Luck!

Go into appearance editing mode. Choose "eyes" in the menu. You will see a small texture box with the default eye color displayed. Click on the default texture... you will be able to replace that texture with one you want from your inventory.
