Hello
I'm looking at how to remove seams on avatar skins. Around the arms, neck, lower torso, and on the side of the torso.
Are there any programs out there that can blend them better?
thanks

From: Echo Irvine Hello I'm looking at how to remove seams on avatar skins... any programs out there that can blend them better? Start with a good template guide first (either Chip's or Robin's). There is a great deal of hand editing involved in blending seams. What you do next depends upon what your skinning process is. If you use 3D applications such as Deep Paint3D, or ZBrush then you can get 'Ok' results by painting or applying textures in projection mode. Those results still require hand editing to eliminate resolution differences across seams. If you are relying entirely upon Photoshop, then most of the work is hand editing. Filters such as "Solidify", by Flaming Pear, help transition texture bleed along the exterior of the seams. Various other painting techniques (many are covered in other threads) can be used to blend textures along the inside edges of the seams.
