photo Real?

Alot of people have been makeing Photo Real clothes now... I want to know where they get the pictures from? and when they do how do they get it to fit the template with out it looking all messed up. thanks for the info

Most people are pretty protective of their sources for photos. For fitting them to the template I use the liquify filter in photoshop.

For all of the clothing I make, I use photos I take of real clothing I own and wear. It is a lot easier than hunting down model shoots on the internet and a big bonus is that I can take as many angles as I want.

Another nice thing about doing it that way is that you can create items that no one else is likely to have. Using an online source means that someone else may create something very similar.

As far as fitting it to the templates, I just deform and erase as need be. They are rarely a perfect fit but trial and error normally prevails :)

I will take a look at the liquify filter and see how I get on. Thanks for the hint Chip.
