To save som linden I have used the Beta grid when I create cloth. In that way I dont have to pay 10L every time I upload a file. The file I upload is the TGA file for Fabric. Now I am ready and have a nice shirt tha I want to use in th normal grid.

Is it possible to transfer this shirt from the Beta to the normal grid.

One way is of course to write down the shirt configration i have used. I then log into the normal grud upload the TGA-file and uses the configuration I have written down.

But it would of course be much better if i could save the shirt from the Beta and upload it to the normal grid.

Or is there any other way I should work creating cloth. I dont want to pay 10 L every time I have changed the TGA file and have to upload it again.

Sorry, as far as I know there is no way to transfer objects from Beta to the Main grid. They make snapshots of the main grid and move those to beta every so often, but not the other way around. Writing down your numbers as you described is the best way to do it.

What is created, purchased, or gained in the beta grid...stays in the beta grid.

:)

You'll need to upload the texture to the regular grid. There's no way to transfer items between the three different grids.

And you may want to do that soon. All it takes is a new snapshot ie replacing what is the beta grid now with a copy of what is the main grid, and you’ll lose everything in your beta grid inventory.

Use the beta grid to upload your test textures to ensure that your textures look good, and to check your seams, then once you are completly happy with what you have created, you should only need to upload it once to the live grid and not spend lots of live Lindens on your uploads. It's very handy to use the beta grid that way, but no there is no way to move what you have created in the beta grid across to the live grid.
