Hi Indis!

When you have an object you would like to sell, you can choose the buy "Copy" option in the edit menu/screen. Your other choices are to sell the contents of the item, or to sell the original item.

This is under the General Tab in the edit menu where you would also set the selling price, name it, set perms....etc.

Best wishes on your new venture!

You don't have to make a whole bunch of copies of an item and sell them each individually, although you certainly could. Most of the time, multiple copies of an item are sold by setting the selling object to sell copies of itself and not the original. You can do this either via the For Sale settings of the object, or by using a vendor object with a script to give copies of objects in it's Contents.

Make sure you change the permissions on your sale items so they don't have full permissions. The last thing you want to do is accidentally sell an item with full perms or else everyone will be making copies and giving them away.

Also, you don't want to start a store as your first venture into sales... well you could... but I would recommend that you get your name out there... put vendors into stores see how your items sell. Then make a decision as to whether or not you want to start your own store. You don't want to spend more in tier/rent than the profit you make from your items.
