Ok, so you probably DO know, and I'm the only one who will think this is cool. I was frustrated while working in Pagemaker today, and started hitting random keys as loudly and forcefully as possible to communicate my frustration to all those nearby. Oh yeah, the point.

When you hit Tab, the toolbars all disappear, leaving you a nice, large, clean workspace! And when you Tab again, *poof*, they come back! Works in Photochop too!

Try the F key too

lol...is cool isn't it? Tab does that in all Adobe products that I know of....after you make all the clutter go away with the tab key...try hitting the F key... that's cool too...keep hitting the F key to bring your display back to normal

OMG bless you! I thought I was all smart and stuff saving various layouts to move stuff around and get it out of my way. This is AWESOME! <3

HAHAHA I was about to ask what RTFM meant when it dawned on me. That takes too long, we just need to BOTFK like HQ did.

The F key didn't do anything to me... and I just opened Photoshop to try the "tab", at least that works... now I am sad!!

and what does RTFM means? Chip?

BOTFK ......> Starley?? what is this mean??

I just woke up.... where is my coffee!!! So I know what you guys are saying???

hmm...the F key (whether you use the tab to get rid of the pallets or not) on the first press takes your image out of its window, giving you a full screen view on a gray background, second press changes the background to black...third time it returns your image to its window in the "normal" view... it is a good way to sort of "back off" and get a really nice view of your work.

(is is a pc manuever...could be a Mac is different?)
