Suddenly I am seeing seams between the head and neck, legs and tummy of skins that never had them before. In some cases I'm seeing them on friends in my same skin, but not on myself. I tried correcting these problems by "blanking out" the place where the seams should be with the proper color, head neck part is still lighter than the torso neck part.
Ok so I tried 1 single color texture, nothing added whatsoever and the SAME THING happens. So I've spent about 300 Linden and reduced myself to tears trying to fix something thats unfixable apparently. Does anybody know what this problem is?

I haven't noticed this myself, but you should always use the beta grid when trying to trouble shoot that sort of thing. The uploads won't cost you anything. Or search this forum for Namssor's method of previewing in the regular viewer without having to actually upload.

are you or they wearing facelights?
try turning off local lights when you see this, and if it goes away then you know it is due to a facelight or some such thing

For some reason it goes away when i turn my graphics settings down quite a bit. Other people were seeing it too until they did the same. Thanks for the replies guys. As long as I know its not my textures being complete crap I'm ok... =)
