I'm trying to get a few of the Nagel brushes to work properly with PS after having reinstalled the program some time a couple weeks ago. Now, certain custom brushes cause the program to freeze for no reason. If i hadn't upgraded my RAM to 1.5GB, i would have thought it was a RAM issue, but these same brushes were doing just fine before i reinstalled the program (due to OS X reinstall).
I'm going to try looking for updates for now, but does anyone know why this might be happening?

I've had a similar issue, I thought it was the windlight viewer causing the problem but I've since had PS CS2 freeze when using a particular one of Nagel's skin brushes. (one of the ones set at size 2) So I stopped using it. It's the only one I've come across with the issue so far, but I haven't tested them all.

Ok, i've been able to fix this problem, and an update to 9.0.2 over and above the base install seemed to help. If you are experiencing freezes while using custom brushes, apparently CS2 is known to be a bit unstable and requires an update.
