I was curious about how do you make skins.. what are the things you need to make them??

The various templates that you use for clothing work for skins as well.
A imaging program such as Gimp, PSP, or PS.
Artistic patience if you're creating by hand or technical patience if you're creating via imagery.
Time. Lots and lots of time.

Here's how I do mine...
1. troll welcome area for newbies with good complections
2. lure newbies to secret cave with promises of money and sexual favors
3. trick newbie into standing under giant pendulum
4. mop up internal bits when aformentioned pendulum slices newbie in half
5. stretch newbie skin to fit clothing templates
6. cure skin
7. rinse.
8. repeat.

Aces the few I did, I drew in... and it was pure hell... I may try the imagery route, except I don't like that blemish look... hmm I dunno..
