Any Basic Clothing tutorials using psp9

anyone have any basic clothing tutorials using psp 9,and how to load and work with clothing templates in psp???

hmmm aren't these forums suppose to be where u can ask questions?...lol but nobody seems to want to answer them.. looking for someone to possibly post some tutorials on making clothes,or some tips how to get started using psp.. lmao i know there is gotta be someone out there willing to help

Yes, there are tutorials out there for making clothes -- for a start, do search on "tutorial" or "tutorials" within the design and texture forum. Some are on Photoshop, but the same principles apply.

One of the key questions people have is alpha channels, and i always point people to cris' knowledge base write up about it on sluniverse.com

as for the rest, well, you need to download the templates (look at both chip midnight's posted in this forum and the free Linden Lab ones), understand how the mesh works against the avatar (you'll see where the images are stretched and where they are compressed -- you'll especially see stretching on the skirt type), figure out what you want your clothes to look like and either draw them or pull bits from photographs, save the file to a TGA (and learn how to do alpha channels), load into SL and apply to the appropriate bit of clothing.

a lot will be trial and error at the beginning, but you'll get the hang of it.

In addition you should download and try to understand Chips Templates: /109/72/40762/1.html. But first use the Linden ones, because the tutorials are based on them. Chips templates are just much more detailed and very helpful for fine hich quality work.
