Linden Fire Texture

Can someone tell me, where I can pickup the Linden Fire texture? I have a flame texture, but I need the bonfire texture

There should be a bonfire in your library in your inventory... if you can actually log in and rez it. If no luck there, there are a gajillion freebie (full perms) fire textures out there, bonfires prims (with the animataion script), etc.

Snowman, can you tell me where I can get the gajillion freebie fire? I didn't find it

I collected some freebie fires from Yadni's Junkyard and similar places, then unlinked them and re-used the flames in fireplaces and bonfires. Watch the permissions though, as some may be no-copy.

You could learn to make your own, as I have unsuccessfully tried to do so far, which will then have your name as creator, and sometimes careful linking of your new object will enable your name to appear as creator. Advice from scripters on how to make them flicker would be welcomed!

The contents of my library inventory vanished some time ago, and some helpful Linden may direct you to a place which offers them again for free. I don't remember there being Linden fire textures in there, though, but I could well be wrong.

Wow, people are still missing library textures? I thought they fixed that a while ago.

Nika, I picked up the textures. But a fire texture is not included

Seems none knows where I can pickup a fire texture. Even in texture shops you don't find a fire texture.

I have a texture of fire that is in the tga format that features a single pane with 16 different looking flames on an alpha background. (I'm guessing thats what you already have.)

being a avid sl pyromaniac I also have a script that creates particles that look like fire a lot. Its all free stuff too. Contact me inworld and I can hook you up wit it.

Particle Labs has a set of vendors near their sandbox that sell textures for minimal prices. You then pair the texture with their free fullperm scripts and you can get nice effects. I know they have a couple of candle flames there, I don't know if they have bonfires.

hmmm. i'll check and see if i have a bonfire texture. I have a single-flame texture that I use for torches ... I got it by taking apart a freebie.
