Hi all,
Since I recently released some 20's/30's style clothing, I've had lots of people ask about the hair I'm using for my models -- specifically the Eton crop haircut with spit curls on the side.
This very short cut is great for hats (like the cloche's worn during the twenties) and definitely is different from the voluminous manes seen around SL (which I like, don't get me wrong -- i have a soft spot for big hair!).
Problem is that it's part of the face/head skin -- basically I'm not using any SL hair at all. Which means those who already have makeup/skins couldn't use it (if i sold a texture of the hair itself).
So the questions are: Do I give away the hair texture in hopes that skin-makers will do a version of their head skins with it (or try to partner with some?). Do I create my own twenties style skins with appropriate makeup?
Or is there some other clever option I can't think of that you nice people might suggest?
Thanks!
p.s. I also have a shingle bob that's made of prims - no problem with that, though.

I know a lot of the makeup and skin makers work together - Chip has agreements with lots of people who do makeups, so he can apply them to his skins. Maybe you could ask him how he works it out?

I'd be happy to work with you. Just give me a yell and I'll fill you in on the details. Hopefully LL will soon get off their arse and give people the ability to apply their own tatts to custom no-mod skins and this will be a non-issue for tatt makers.
