ZBrush 3 and problems afterward...

So I got tired of warped textures and constant reuploading in previewer programs to see if my textures lined up right. I searched around for programs to paint on the model itself and decided on ZBrush. I've downloaded the grouped tool from the link in these forums and was able to get it in the program, but then I screwed up somehow with the texture making and frustrations piled on from there. I'm currently stuck in the painting (2d type, not on the model type) mode and can't get back to 3d even by restarting the program. If there is anyone out there that has any idea how to get back to 3d and set up the SL models for textureing I really would appreciate it. Thanks!

Actually, let's go further here. I've downloaded demos of BodyPaint 3d and Deep Paint 3d also. I just want a program that lets me paint directly onto the model. I can't get the models set up correctly in any of these programs and being completely new to them, I can't figure out why. Deep Paint says I need a bitmap on what I'm trying to paint and to go to the layers pallette to create one, but on the layers palette there is no option to create bitmaps or anything other than new layers and materials really. BodyPaint won't let me do anything once I've zoomed in on the tiny little model you get when opened. No prompts, nothing. The brush tooltip goes to the little red "no" symbol. Any help would be greatly appreciated or even pointing me to a nice user friendly model painting program! Thanks again!

Have you tried delting the file and re adding and starting work.
However, that being said, 'So I got tired of warped textures and constant reuploading in previewer programs to see if my textures lined up right. ' that statement is par for the course for any 3d system. Wow's developers deal with this. I had to when I made Aragon for Dungeon siege. Its all part of it. My suggestion. Make a template. A t-shirt template, a polo template, a jeans template.
This way you only have to the hard work once.
As for Body paint and deep paint can't help you. Most poeple don't have the money to buy these programs. As they aren't used much here. Aslo have you considered going to their forums and asking?
