Hiya

Found this tutorial which i hope might be of use to ppl?

Its NOT related to SL in anyway which is good or bad depending on how you look at it.

Its about avoiding seams on templates and tricks to avoid them or work round them...sorry its way beyond my level of designing but i 'think' it may be relevant to oter ppls levels in photoshop/paintshop/gimp etc..

heres the link

hope its of some use to ppl

Yep, that'll work for SL as well. Basically what it's showing is how to quickly get a solid color fill to cover all the seams and bleed areas. This is a useful trick for working on skins or solid color clothing items. Not very useful for more elaborate clothing. Thanks for the link LillyBeth :)

It will work in 7 as shown, I believe, but here's a quick way to do it using the psd versions of my templates...

1. Select edge matching guide layer (the multicolored edge lines).

2. Go to the select menu and choose "load selection." Load the transparency for that layer.

3. In the select menu choose "modify/expand" and enter a value of 20 pixels or so. That will fatten the selection by 10 pixels on either side of the edges.

4. On your work layer, fill the selection with the base color you want.
