Racoon face texture

I'm new to textures and wanted to texture a kani head to the racoon face texture but I'm really not sure and could use all the help and tips possible on this one.

I don't know what a kani head is, or the specific raccoon face you want to change. However:

If it's going to be painted onto an avatar face, you'll need to look up the clothing & skin tutorials in the sticky threads at the top of the forum.

If it's going to be painted onto one or more prims, try painting a rough draft of the face as it might look flat, upload it to the preview grid*, put it on prims shaped like you're intending to shape them, and then make corrections. Repeat until you're happy.
