 I not sure where to post my question, so I will post it here. If it need to be somewhere else, let me know.

I like making my own texture for my clothes. My question is, once I upload it to SL and apply it to a piece of clothing, is there a way I can lock the texture so that it can not be changed, but still modify size and colour?

Thanks in advance :)

Kat, when you set the permissions to 'modify' then you are doing just that for anyone you give it to. They will be able to resize and color, but not able to change the texture.

In fact, for clothes that are set to 'transfer' AND 'modify' the little texture square in the appearance mode doesn't even show up. That may be your best bet for that. For 'mod/copy' permissions, the little texture square will show up.

But remember, as the creator of the clothing item, you will always have permissions to change the item as long as it hasn't left your inventory.
