Hello, First I apologize in case this was already asked at a different place, but the search was without any Results. I am using Blender 2.47 and encountered a problem that I can't seem to fix. I texture a sculptie and before I bake the Texture it looks perfect ( or as close to perfect as I can get). Yet when I bake the texture it distorts heavily, and when I look at the resulting Texture File, it is a merley 62x62 pxl small.
Any Ideas relating to solve the Problem would be greatly appreciated
Cheers Allan

It's happened to me a few times and I have to admit it's because I've inadvertantly forgotton the crucial step of creating a new image at 1024x1024 before doing the 'texture only' bake.
Well that's what I think. I usually delete the image and create a new one then it works.

Tried it, didn't work though. I tried to make the Textures bigger and smaller, but it always end up as 62x62 pxl. I am really out of Ideas here. Thank you for the response though.

Alan, not trying to infer you suffer the same absent-mindedness as me but have you made sure that you've switched back from the texture layer before doing the bake - that's another fumble I've made more times than I wish to be remembered for! And not trying to be totally bossy and try to tell you totally obvious things, but have you followed Gaia's fabulous tutorial step by step? I seem to get it right flipping between the tutorial and each action in Blender but then think I've mastered it and trip up on the next attempt without guidance! Also. would upgrading to 1.48a not be a possible solution as that's what Domino's scripts are currently working with? I don't know if there would be any impact using the older version but the latest release is stable and should run on the same specs as for the 1.47 you're running now.

Drifter, you sound by no means bossy, I appreciate every help I can get. As for your advice, I couldn't check it yet because a Flu struck me in the afternoon so im kinda slow. I will however keep you posted if I find the mistake. As for the Blender Version, for one reason or another I cant get any other version to cooperate with Python.
*edit*
I noticed one difference between what gaia does in her tutorial and what I have to do , given the shape of my object. I have to unwrap the UV as is and not Unrap from view. Now I am not sure in how far it makes a difference, but asside from that I follow the instruction to the point. Yet it's always the same result.
