Help!! Alpha images bug?!

I've been creating clothing for over a year now, and everything has been running smoothly up until a day ago. I finished working on a top (Alphaed with flaming pear), and uploaded it to SL. The edges were unbelieveably and obnoxiously jagged. First, I thought it was a problem on my part. I changed my alpha and redid the saving process. Still the same problem. I logged onto an alt, and it was perfectly fine. So I transfered the texture to my main, and I still had the problem!

I cleared cache, didn't work. Rebaked textuers, didn't work. I've uninstalled and erased everything completely, didn't work. I've tried everything possible, and I don't know what else to do.

Can anyone help?!

The fact that the same texture looks OK on your alt suggests that you're seeing a client-side effect. I know you've probably already thought of this, but have you double-checked the graphics settings in Preferences for your main avatar? I mess with the sliders myself all the time, pushing resolution when I'm taking photos and dropping it back down again when I'm done. Could you have done the same thing but accidentally overdone it? I'm really fishing here......

I have noticed the same thing. I have been using alphas in SL for three years now, and haven't changed anything.

The last few days I have been making quite alot of my new animated one-prim animals - each of which takes 8 or more textures (they have real front and backs, heh)

Looking up close at a seagull (as one does) I noticed it was really jagged - as if the picture were much lower resolution than before.

I will test it with my alt in a minute...

I haven't changed any settings beside draw distance. And I don't use windlight. I have no idea what's the problem. :/
