I'm working on a university project to simulate specific hallucinations of schizophrenic patients in the Second Life environment. No, really.

I need to find a reasonably realistic avatar of a US police officer. I also need a realistic looking model of a semi-automatic pistol such an officer might carry as a sidearm. The pistol doesn't need to work, just look good.

If anyone has seen such items in world, please tell me where I can find them!

I'm also happy to pay for them to be built, either in L$ or US$. They would have to be yes-modify, since I need to attach scripts. The money's coming out of my own pocket, not the university's, so hopefully we could work out something reasonable. Or you could donate the design, as a gift to mental health patients everywhere.

hmm contact the Linden that made the fireman, that is the most realistic avatar that I have seen... I dont think a police man should be much different?

If you haven't found one already...I would love to try and make a police uniform for you (I work with the police in RL) Any features in particular that you're looking for, besides the weapon?

And I have to see your project on schizophrenia...sounds very interesting!

I'd love it if you'd make a policeman avatar for me. Shadow Weaver has also offered to make one for me. I'd love to see both, and I'll end up using whichever one I think looks most realistic.

Regardless, I'll make you the same offer I made him. I've got a set of credits for the clinic (credits for voice actors for the hallucinations, images, etc.) and I'd be happy to list you there (regardless of whether I use your av or not). Or I can pay you L$ or US$ for it.

Nothing in the building will be for-sale to other residents. Most of the people who see it will be medical students (we're going to use this for training about schizophrenia). I need modify rights on the objects so I can add scripts to them to do the hallucinations. I won't give the avatar or objects to anyone else.

A US policeman, young to middle aged, with a hat, badge on chest, name tag on chest, badge on shoulders, with bonus points for a utility belt and/or gun. I may be able to get a gun from someone else in world.
