For anyone interested in colour theory and matching colours for their projects, there is a simple software by Eni Oken that helps with comparing colour swatches for warm, cool, complementary, opposing colours, etc. http://www.oken3d.com/html/tips.htmlThe download link is on the left. Don't forget to download the PDF manual as well. Have fun!

HI
Went to your website but the links are dead.
Sure its a temp issue.
Actually I was just about to place an advert for a Yahoo Tutor to go thru DAZ Studio and some stuff I am a little in the grey about in PS
I have a ton of plug ins but am lost in the best way to use them, Dream suit, flaming Pear, Photoweave, to name just a few.
Also bought Texture Maker and not had time to get passed the basic tuts.
My problem is I suffer from M.E and my memory and learning capacity is kinda slow.
I would dearly love a personal tutor to go thru some tuts with me in Yahoo or what ever chat program type prefered after hearing the type of things I want to make and then deciding the best program and plug ins given the list I have and go thru some tuts
IE: DAZ studio I got it and it seems ok regards to the interface but I tend to go back to what I know ( PS ) but am aware DAZ does a Home Maker Kit that I am very keen to learn about to create curtains and blinds and doors ect.
I really want to learn how ot make more 3D looking textures other than just applying layers and shadows.
My stuff is good enough for most ppl in SL but I see other work like my artists Ceera and I just KNOW theres better ways of doing things.
Could you help?

The link seems fine to me both at home and from the office and could be a temporary thing. By the way, I have no affiliations to the artist. Just found the persons work very whimsical and happy looking and stumbled upon that free tool. Its just something to help explore colour combinations. Theres an interview of the artist here from some time ago. http://www.raph.com/3dartists/interviews/i-i141.htmlI'm sorry to hear you suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome. You're not the first I've met in SL to have it tho. That aside, I don't actually use any plugins in Photoshop. Not sure what you meant by 3D looking textures tho. I personally use textures from other existing plain textures or even photographs and modify them to suit instead of creating from scratch. It just makes more sense that way. You can IM me inworld and ask anything and I can try and answer or show you, provided that our time zones overlap.

Hi Lillybeth, The link for the software works, it is on the left side in the fine print. There is a link for the software and a seperate one for the manual. The other links do not work, but they are dated 2001. :/ I played around a little and found this page which has links to other tutorials. http://www.oken3d.com/ezo/edited to add: Thanks for the link Cottonteil.
