Shirt texture not wraping around the av right

Hi everyone,
I'm new to clothes making and this has probably been covered before but I couldn't find it. I'm using the female upper body template to design a shirt (using Photo Paint X3) and when I try to load the tga file into SL it's pushing to top of the shirt down to the stomach area and twisting it then wraping the bottom of the shirt around the arms. How do you fix this?

I dunno, but it sounds like your texture's upside down

Any chance you can post a screenshot of what you're getting in SL? That would make it easier to take a guess at what's going wrong. A very small thumbnail image of your shirt texture would be even better.

I figured it out, thanks Chip I wasn't reducing my image size to 512x512 so it was wraping the bottom portion of the shirt.

That's weird. I didnt know that clothes textures could wrap like that. I've used larger textures on skins and SL just resized them for me.

Can you control the placement of a texture on clothing like you can with prims? I wonder if that could be used for different effects.

i've heard of it happening but dont understand it myself. When I am working on stuff i dont resize when I want to test something out and I upload at the size i'm working on. Usually 1024x1024 or 2048x2048 depending on what it is to see placement and everything is in the right place (which is why i dont take time to downsize it). I only downsize to 512 x 512 when its pretty much done and i am at the final upload. NOthing moves so I"m assuming this is a bug for some people but not others?
