The following link is to a photobucket album I set up to provide a pictorial step-by-step tutorial on making a blouse with the use of Photoshop and DAZ Studios. Each of the eight slides shows in words and pictures a blouse top, to a dress, from the beginning to the end.

I use these slides in my classes as a summery. However, I hope they will provide the aspiring designer some ideas on how an article of clothing is made.

For the brand new designer, you will still have to save the finished product in a tga format and upload it in to Second Life as a texture. The texture is then applied (while in appearance) to a new article of clothing.

Jen

P.S. I just checked the link. The slides are in last to first order. so open the bottom right slide first. Don't know how that happened?

This is awesome Jen, thanks for sharing it! I have a Notecard of web resources that I hand out in game to people who ask me about creating clothes. I will be adding this to the notecard for sure!
