***WARNING*** Skins are nude in order for you to judge them in a more precise whole way. So don't open the attatchments in an uncomfortable environment e.g. work...
I don't have a store, and I am very new to all of this, but I've always loved art and do graphic design as a hobby and decided to make a skin. This is my first. Any comments or constructive criticism are welcomed! I think the shadowing on the legs is hard.. and also, does anybody have any tips on matching seams when it comes to skins? I think it is most DEFINATELY the hardest part.

lol... I opened them at work too...even with the warning. Thank god for privacy screens. I think the skin looks nice. Especially for your first run at it. Maybe a few more details, hand painted...or a few freckles, imperfections in the texture base... I love the size and color of the areolae--they are perfect. My favorite.

Lol those were one of the main things I did ONLY with circular brushes, no photos used but sometimes that works best. They're pretty simple.

I'm trying a 2nd style and the tummy is always the hardest to get right! I want it to kind of look toned but not over-toned

I agree, the body seems to be hard, but tummy hardest which is why mine are not all that detailed
I keep trying though
thank god for the beta grid, else it would cost me a fortune to test them out

Can you test them for free on the beta grid?? I've actually been uploading spending 10L$ a time each time and if that's true it would help... a lot. x]

Ur first Skin
12-23-2007 06:22
The skin is very nice... (no matter) first or 10th... I love that u didn't have any super dark shading on it... especially around the butt cheecks ... I have skins that are beautiful except for the butt and crotchal areas. You CANNOT* have overly dark shadings in these areas. They end up looking very odd...(way not good)... and with all the super *openned legged* dance moves out there... alot of avies end up looking not so appealing. Well ...to me anyways.
Congrats on ur first!!! It looks good... I am a fan of simply, well done. *smilin*

From: Trixibelle Dufaux Any comments on how I could improve this skin? Yes, model nude for me whenever you make a new one? Hehe, seriously though, shading seems to be a terribly difficult thing to master. Make it too subtle and the skin looks flat, too extreme and it gets unnatural and distracting. You only have one pic here that shows the face, so I can't tell how much is lighting and how much is the skin, but it looks like there's too much contrast between the highlights and the darker regions up there. I'd try muting the highlights a bit to see if you can keep the depth without making it too noticeable.

I have mixed feelings about the nipples... the stomach is not right.. But the rest looks awesome to me... It seems you have no lines of demarcation anywhere and that in itself is a wonderful thing!

The skin is really looking good, remember to try and match up the collar bones at the right height, do not highlight to much at first (unless your trying for that effect), the stomach (abs area) seems a bit rounded don't forget to make it fade a bit into the lower skin template other wise you have to much of a separation.
From the angle of the images you have put up the scapula look fine but not sure photos are on angles. The face looks super from the distance but you need to show a close up of the face too for proper critique. Good job on the nails, from the angle shown they look good. The areola seem fine and are not to hard on the edges, the nipples themselves seem to be flat highlights though a bit more darkness on one area of the edge may bring them out more.
About all I can say at the time is great work, keep it up and then see about makeup options as well, and when doing makeup options don't forget the nail options as well.
