Tips for making detailed wrinks or shadows on cloths

Anyone got any tips for making wrinks or shadows with photoshop for clothing textures?

Use your camera and take pictures of wrinkles on material. I usually use a bed sheet and go to town. Once you have the files - desaturate them and use the smudge tool, dodge and burn as well. The reason you want to desaturate the file is that this gets out any yellowing or weird colors that your camera would have picked up.

Once you have a wrinkle or fold that you like - use the warp or liquify tool in photoshop to "bend" or shape to your liking. Use layer masks or the eraser and the smudge tool again to blend in with your clothing.

Newer version of Photoshop have a really cool filter for wrinkles and material. I don't have that version yet...but I want it!!!
