I am new here and am confused (about a lot lol). Are there reasons some clothing has a clothing icon (shirt, pants, shoes etc) and other clothing has the generic body icon? When would you need to make pants as a body rather than as pants?
A nice mentor tried to explain it to me last night but I am still confused.

I'm not 100% positive, but I believe the difference is in how you save it. (I.E. Save, Save As, Make Outfit) I always use Make Outfit to save items, and my icons show up as little pants, shirts, etc..

I think the generic icons indicate items that date back to before they introduced the different icons for different clothing types. Only items created after that received the new ones.

I wasn't here in the beginning, but I think that Chip is right; all the stuff that I have with the body icon is old.
Everything has the various clothing icons now, no matter how it's saved. _____________________

There was also a period a while ago where stuff was saving with that icon again. I have some fairly new clothes with it... Pixelchap stuff, I believe, not sure.
