My graphics tablet broke down a few weeks ago, and I'm yet to order another so I'm working in PS with a mouse (which I can't stand!!) Silly question coming: In designing clothing is there a quick way to mirror one side of the clothing design (torso part) so that what you have created on one side can be the same as the other. I'm sure this must be an integral part of many SL designers processes, though I'm not sure! Many thanks

I use Gimp. Copy, Paste into new layer. Transform layer by flipping horizontally. Position layer. Merge two layers together.

That is the quick an dirty way to do it and it works exactly the same in Photoshop.

yup thats what I do... OR I use avpainter but its very hard to draw on and get the design you are going for but it has a wonderful mirror tool, form what I can tell there is only one brush style to use and have not found out how, if there is a way to change the brushes

In PSP you don't even have to use a second layer. Just select what you want to mirror, copy it and paste it wherever you want and before you de-select what you just pasted pull down the "image" menu and choose "mirror".
