Hey can anyone give me any links or references to other posts that give detailed information about making Flexi Skirts, preferrably a tutorial but any kind of advice/information would be greatly appreciated

Flex Skirt Tutorials

I teach a Flex Skirt/Clothing Creation class for free at Mystical Masterys School on the island of Mystica.
Please watch the events page for the listing for the class. I teach it about once a week. It includes a skirt creating script. Hope this helps. |

Ged is too modest to mention it, but he has a LoopRez script available for free at Sirena fashions--you insert the script and a panel in a prim, fiddle with the parameters (waist size, number of panels, flare, etc), touch the prim and FOOOOMPH! theres your basic skirt. Edit the individual prims as needed, and then link it.
Natalia's blog has more details on the use of the LoopRez. |

Wow.. I found a lot more than that script there.. lots of nice freebie scripts and other things.. thanks a lot! I was scratching my head wondering how to change the shape on a linkset after putting together a flexiprim skirt using the pivot-path method just before reading this..
![]() Edit: I just wanted to add that, I am already in love with that script. It comes with easy to understand comments in the code and everything, and it is excellent! ![]() |

You're in love with a script Howard? I think perhaps you need to get out more!

Free clothing class today at 2PM SL time. You will get a script that rezzes a flexi skirt, but also TUi teaches a class that gives you the LooPRez that makes a skirt.
There are now lots of resources, which there weren't in the past. And, that's a good thing. |

Virrginia, you are too kind, lol.
Howard, I'm glad you found the LoopRez script helpful -- I learned and benefited so much from other scripters who were so kind as to open source their scripts, that distributing LoopRez freely seemed to be the most fair thing to do.
