Face template questions

Hi,

I'm new here,but I guess I'm in the right forum...I have two questions concerning the LL face template:

1. I've deleted the default aplha channel using PSP9 for a more uniform color & texture all over the head.While in upload preview,I noticed an odd cross pattern made by the mouth(palette,tongue and teeth) in the back of the skull...How do I get rid of it?

2. Also,I've read about an "eyelashes" alpha channel...Can someone can explain it to me? Does it delete the existing ones or it's just a mod? Any help is welcome as I'm eager to learn

Hi there Moon, the dark cross pattern on the back of the skull can be avoided by either completely removing the mouth and teeth from the texture and making the area transparent, or simply making sure the mouth and teeth images do not overlap the lines. I personally just make the area transparent.



Some people have an eyelash alpha and color in the visible parts black, but I just make it transparent. Makes it easier, keeps everyone happy.

When I refer to "making them transparent" I mean I create an alpha channel which makes those areas transparent. Hope that helps.
