I am looking for someone to point me in the right direction on how to make my experience a reality on SL. Please email me directly at chefjellynow@yahoo.com

I am a Professional chef and have a database of extraordinary recipes and teaching experience as a chef instructor. I am looking to incorperate this with selling recipes and doing classes.

anyone intrested in helping me with how to move recipes to the SL world for purchase or conducting classes please contact me.

You do not need to be a chef, just someone who can make my reality available to everyone on SL

Great idea, Roy. I'm something of an amateur chef myself, and I'd probably be interested in your service, as I'm sure would many others. However, I'd highly recommend posting this somewhere else, not here. This forum is for the discussion of texturing techniques, and quite obviously a recipe business/culinary school in SL, no matter how intriguing it might be, has nothing to do with texturing.

Further, just so you know, pitching a business idea on a forum (any forum) and instructing people to E-mail you directly, rather than to discuss the topic publicly on the forum itself, is considered by many to be inappropriate. Basically, it's spam. The purpose of a public forum is to hold open discussion, not to just pop your head up to advertise your business and then pull back out of sight by asking solely for private discussion.

Should you wish to advertise legitimately, there are plenty of avenues provided by LL and by third parties for that purpose. You've got the inworld classifieds at your disposal, the classified forums on this site, along with tons of resident created sites and inworld services. Please don't hijack an educational forum like this to pitch your business plans that are not in any way related to the forum's purpose. Otherwise, the positive aspects of your business (and this one looks like it's got a lot positive to it) will get lost as people tune you out as little more than background noise in the way of what they're actually looking for.

Mind if I quote this text on other forums where people routinely make vague proclamations of business opportunities and expect to be emailed?
