Viewing Clothing Designs in Daz Studio?

Hi, I signed up on SL and have been following the forums for about a month and a half now. I've been working on my clothing making skills and took Jennifer McLuhan's clothing class this past Saturday. During the class she mentioned that you could download Daz Studio for free to preview you clothes before uploading them, which I can imagine is much nicer than using SL's preview screen! I downloaded Daz and the SL avatar mannequins, can open the mannequins in Daz, but for the life of me cannot figure out how to get my clothing designs into Daz! It doesn't seem to recognize the targa files. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
