Is It just me or is it difficult to make clothes on a laptop?

I'm currently waiting to buy my new computer, and when I attempt clothes on my laptop I get really angry with myself because when I use the pad on the laptop I can never get lines straight, I just cant control it properly. I'm wondering if it's just me or it's hard for everyone? Just need to settle my mind..

=D

Thanks in advance!

Don't try to do artwork with a touchpad. Plug in a mouse, or better yet, invest in a Wacom tablet.

Touchpads are just for quickly moving the cursor around and clicking on stuff. They're not for artwork. If you've got a particularly good one, and you're very dextrous, you CAN make it work. But it'll never ever be as good as even a mediocre mouse, let alone a good one, and it certainly won't be in the same league as a real drawing tablet.

It's also difficult to take a 5 person family on a 4 week road holiday in a 2 door ecocar too.

I use my Wacom tablet on both my laptop and workstation. The only difference between the two are the size of the screens (17" versus 2x24";). Besides that, there's not much difference thanks to the Wacom.

I too would be very frustrated drawing with a business card sized touch pad. That would be like finger painting on a Post-It note. Not fun. Even worse would be that little pencil eraser sized navigator that some laptops have embedded in the keyboard. Get a Wacom!!

Thanks for the replies guys. I won't be using It for much longer but I was just wondering weather me attempting it was worth It at all.
