Two texturing questions:

1) I found part of an answer here /109/b5/141386/1.html#post1301762
to my question about animating individual prim sides. Is this still true? You can only animate either one side or all sides? I need to animate two sides (flames for fire) but want the other sides to be clear.

2) If I wanted to make a "bowl" using either a sphere or a torus and use a texture like this:

What would I need to do in photoshop to be able to turn this into a texture that can be applied to a curved object?

Thanks!!

1. Animate all sides and if some sides are clear then who cares if they are animated? No one can see them anyway.
2. The best thing is to make the texture without the angels, it takes a few minutes in Photoshop but explaining it is a pain...sent you what I made.

Yeah - you don't want those pesky Angels getting in the way!
